Juicy peaches and a fluffy, melt-in-your mouth topping make this Vegan Gluten-Free Grilled Peach Cobbler a dream come true! It is so easy to make, and before you know it, you’ll have a bowl of warm, comforting, summertime Peach Cobbler.
This vegan and gluten-free Grilled Peach Cobbler recipe is the perfect nutritious summertime dessert that won’t warm up your home. I love the concept of cooking desserts on the grill during summertime. If it is already fired up it makes it so easy to just throw on one more dish! Plus, I just love the rustic look of desserts served in an 8-inch cast iron skillet.
Sweet juicy peaches combine with the perfect fluffy biscuit-like topping for total cobbler perfection. This recipe is totally refined sugar-free and sweetened naturally with pure maple syrup. The cobbler crust is made from nutrient-rich almond flour and gluten-free whole grain oats.
Similar to my blueberry crisp, this easy peach cobbler recipe is healthy enough to enjoy for breakfast and yet it is so decadent! My family absolutely loves when I make this classic summertime dessert recipe. My kids love to top the peach cobbler with a creamy scoop of my no-churn homemade vegan vanilla ice cream. Swoon!
What’s the Difference Between Cobbler and Crumble?
A cobbler is a deep dish fruit dessert with a thick and fluffier topping. Crumbles are more rustic and often crunchy, with a crisper layer of topping. Both are really tasty summertime desserts, but for this grilled recipe, I wanted an authentic cobbler!
All About Peaches
Peaches are one of the juiciest, tastiest, and naturally sweet fruits out there! They have plenty of vitamin C and fiber, helping to create a healthy stomach every time you eat one. Choose peaches that have a slight give when you push on them. They shouldn’t feel mushy or wrinkly; that’s an overripe peach! Perfect peaches also smell sweet and have bright, vibrant color.
Ingredients in Grilled Peach Cobbler Filling
I kept this cobbler filling really simple to let the natural sweetness of the peaches shine! They really don’t need much dressing up to become a delightful dessert. This filling uses:
- Peaches - remove the pits and skin, then cut them into thin slices
- Arrowroot powder
- Pure maple syrup
- Ground cinnamon
Ingredient in Gluten-Free Vegan Cobbler Topping
I tested several different varieties before landing on the cobbler topping that I think is absolutely perfect!
- Oat flour - to make it blend rolled oats in your blender until they get a flour-like texture
- Almond flour - super fine blanched works best here
- Baking soda
- Cinnamon
- Salt
- Melted vegan butter - coconut oil also works well here!
- Maple syrup and pure maple sugar
- Vanilla
Making Peach Cobbler on the Grill
If you’re already grilling your dinner, you might as well get dessert going, too! I love that you don’t have to turn the oven on to make this dessert. It’s perfect for summertime! Simply use an 8-inch cast-iron skillet to assemble the peach cobbler, then place it on low heat on the grill. It will cook for 25 minutes. Make sure to rotate it halfway through so everything cooks evenly! The peach filling will bubble on the sides and the top will be a perfect golden brown. YUM!
Vegan Ice Cream with Cobbler

So so good! I replaced the almond flour with additional oat flour to accommodate a nut allergy and increased the vegan butter and maple syrup a bit. I also did it in the oven at 350° for 40 minutes and it turned out perfectly! Was completely gone in about 10 minutes. Everyone loved it. Will definitely make this again!

This was delicious! I also baked mine at 350 for 40-45 minutes, and turned out great. (Covered with foil for about half the time)
My sister asked for this for her birthday since she's gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugars-free - but the whole family gobbled it up, and my non-vegan husband already asked me to make it again! 😉
