These homemade 3 musketeers are a light, airy and chocolatey dream! They're a healthier and vegan version of the nostalgic candy bar we all know and love - with a creamy whipped chocolate center coated in a crisp chocolate shell. The best part? They're made with just two simple ingredients and require no baking at all!

Nothing compares to the soft, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth center of a 3 Musketeers bar. I grew up loving that texture: light and creamy yet rich and satisfying. Traditionally, that whipped nougat filling is made with sugar and corn syrup, but I've discovered a much easier (and plant-based!) way to recreate it at home.
This recipe uses store-bought vegan CocoWhip by So Delicious (not sponsored) mixed with a bit of melted dark chocolate. That's it! The combination creates a light, mousse-like filling that firms up in the freezer, giving you that signature 3 Musketeers texture.
When I tested this recipe with my homemade coconut whipped cream, it just didn't set the same way. Therefore, I recommend sticking with the store-bought CocoWhip for the most authentic and reliable results.

My daughter Jade described these as a "chocolate-dipped ice cream bar, but lighter than ice cream" - and she's totally right! These bars are creamy, refreshing and so much fun to eat straight from the freezer.
They're also a great candy-making activity for kids. Since there's no baking required, little hands can help mix, pour and even drizzle chocolate on top.
Ingredients

The filling in this recipe is the same concept of my 2-ingredient chocolate ganache (coconut cream mixed with melted chocolate), just in a different ratio. This version uses way more of the whipped cream and just a touch of chocolate which, when frozen, gives that perfect 3 Musketeers filling texture.
Instructions
1. Mix the CocoWhip with melted dark chocolate.

2. Freeze overnight.

3. Slice into bars and dip in chocolate. Feel free to drizzle some extra chocolate overtop to mimic the signature 3 Musketeers look. Freeze for 10 minutes to set the shell.

4. Enjoy!

Recipe Tips
- Smooth texture is key. Make suire to whisk thoroughly so the chocolate fully integrates into the CocoWhip. You don't want any clumps of coconut cream.
- Work quickly! The filling melts fast once out of the freezer. Keep the sliced bars frozen until you're ready to dip.
- Let the melted chocolate cool. Hot chocolate will melt the filling. Let it sit for a few minutes before dipping.

Description
These homemade 3 musketeers are a light, airy and chocolatey dream! They're a healthier and vegan version of the nostalgic candy bar we all know and love - with a creamy whipped chocolate center coated in a crisp chocolate shell. The best part? They're made with just two simple ingredients and require no baking at all!
Ingredients
- 1 entire container of So Delicious CocoWhip (not sponsored) [for the filling]
- 2 tablespoons melted vegan chocolate [for the filling]
- 2 cups vegan chocolate, melted [for the chocolate shell]
Instructions
- Mix the CocoWhip with 2 tablespoons of melted dark chocolate. I use a spoon to mix mine, but you can also use a whisk. Just make sure the chocolate is fully incorporated into the whipped cream so there are no streaks or clumps.
- Transfer the mixture to a small parchment-lined loaf and freeze overnight until fully set.
- Once completely frozen, slice into bars (any size you want). Dip each bar in melted chocolate. For dipping, use a shallow bowl rather than a cup. I recommend melting the chocolate gems directly in that bowl.
- Feel free to drizzle some extra chocolate overtop to mimic the signature 3 Musketeers look. Freeze for 10 minutes to set the shell. Enjoy straight from the freezer!
Notes
Make sure the inside is fully frozen and that the chocolate has cooled to room temperature before dipping. If not fully frozen, the filling will melt and mix with the chocolate.
