Description

Treat your senses (and your soul) with a cup of this vanilla-orange cinnamon glow tea. The harmonious blend of warm spices, bright citrus and creamy vanilla is more than just a beverage - it's an experience that will awaken your senses and bring a golden glow to your day. It's delicious both hot and iced!

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 2 cups of filtered water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract (or 1 vanilla bean, split)
  • 3 orange slices (or 1 tsp orange zest)
  • 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot or tea kettle, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add cinnamon sticks, vanilla extract, orange slices/zest and maple syrup (if using) to the pot or kettle. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. The longer you steep it the stronger the flavor will be.
  3. Strain the tea into your favorite mug and sweeten with more maple syrup if desired.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a small orange slice for presentation.
  5. Serve hot or iced (make sure to allow the tea to cool completely first so the ice doesn't immediately melt and dilute the flavor).

Notes

  • Steep longer for stronger flavor. Letting the tea steep longer intensifies its flavors, giving you a more robust and aromatic brew.
  • Make it your own! Add a splash of almond or walnut milk for more creaminess, or switch things up with a hint of lemon or other citrus fruits.
