Description

Bright, zippy and packed with immune-boosting ingredients, this creamy ginger smoothie tastes like a tropical vacation in a glass. It's refreshing, slightly sweet and just the right amount of spicy (depending on how much ginger you add). If you love the benefits of ginger but not the burn of a straight ginger shot, this smoothie is going to be your new go-to!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • juice of two large juicy lemons
  • 1-2 inches ginger, peeled (start with 1/2 inch for children)
  • pinch of fine salt

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until perfectly smooth and creamy. Pour into two glasses and enjoy.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of ginger to taste. A 1/2-inch will have mellow flavor and 2 inches will give it a spicy kick.
