This Vegan Protein Smoothie is made without banana or protein powders and has over 11 grams of protein per serving.


Units Scale
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 3/4 cup frozen riced cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoon unsweetened sunflower seed butter (or sub unsweetened pumpkin butter)
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3 soft Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or more to taste)
  • 2 cups ice cubes


  1. Add milk, cauliflower, seed butter, hemp seeds, chia seeds, dates, vanilla and cinnamon to a high speed blender and blend on the highest speed until perfectly smooth (about 30 seconds).  
  2. Add ice and blend again until smooth but frosty (about 30 seconds more).
  3. Pour into two glasses and enjoy immediately with a straw.
