Description

These no-bake chocolate tahini bites are soft, fudgy and full of rich brownie flavor - yet they’re made with wholesome ingredients like Medjool dates, oats and tahini. Naturally sweetened, nut-free and easy to meal prep, they’re the perfect school-safe snack or anytime treat that feels indulgent while also fueling your body. Bonus: they’re also vegan, gluten-free and ready in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 pitted soft Medjool dates
  • 2 tablespoons runny tahini
  • 2 tablespoons quick-cooking oats (I use certified gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegan chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon raw white sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a 7-cup food processor. Process until the mixture is well combined, sticky, and forms a soft dough. Scrape down the sides as needed. The dough should easily hold together when pressed.
  2. Scoop out ½ tablespoon at a time and use your fingers to gently shape the dough into small rectangles (or any shape you wish).
  3. Enjoy immediately or place the bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet to chill and firm up overnight (recommended for best texture).

Notes

Once set, transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze for longer storage.
