Simple Side Salad Recipe

Has a quick homemade dressing and fresh greens, and the unexpected addition of hemp hearts gives texture and hearty nutrition!

The best recipes are usually the simplest. Bonus, the ingredients are both light and super nutritious!

INGREDIENTS

– Extra virgin olive oil – Lemon juice – Maple syrup – Garlic – Fine salt – Mixed spring greens – Shelled hemp seeds

STEP 1

In a mason jar combine the oil, lemon, maple syrup, garlic, and salt. Set aside.

STEP 2

In a large salad bowl add mixed spring greens and hemp hearts.

STEP 3

Pour 2-3 tablespoons of the dressing overtop the green and toss well.

STEP 4

Taste and feel free to add more hemp hearts for more texture and more nutrients.
