July Fourth Cupcakes

These July fourth cupcakes are sweet and delicious. Inside they are creamy and soft.These cupcakes are naturally sweetened with Maple syrup and Flavored with Vanilla Extract.They are perfect for celebrating the fourth of July!


  • 2/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil 
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups super fine blanched almond flour
  • 3/4 cup potato starch (not potato flour)
  • 1/3 cup arrowroot starch
  • 1/3 cup maple sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine all of the wet ingredients.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  4.  Stir well till combined
  5.  Pour cupcake batter into a cupcake pan.
  6. Put cupcakes in the oven for 20 minutes
  7. Let them cool for 30 minutes
  8. Put frosting on 
  9. Enjoy!


Decorating ideas: you can frost with red, white and blue icing, lemon icing or strawberry icing.  Lemon icing with strawberries on top.
