These easy Fudgy Double Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, sweet and chocolatey!  They are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free.  


Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 3/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini vegan dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a half sheet baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, place all dry ingredients (almond flour, oat flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda - not chocolate chips yet).  Stir until well combined. 
  3. Add all wet ingredients (maple syrup, melted coconut oil and vanilla extract) to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir until well combined.  
  4. Add the vegan chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to create 12 balls of cookie dough.  Place them on the baking sheet in three rows.  
  6. Bake for 8 minutes. 
  7. Allow them to rest on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.
  8. Move cookies to a wire cooling rack to fully cool (about 7 minutes).
  9. Enjoy!
